Quad Cities Music Therapy

Discover the benefits of music in early childhood with Beginning Beats and Boundless Beats, our specially designed early childhood music programs.

Beginning Beats 1 and 2

Perfect for infants age 3-9months, Beginning Beats 1 is the wonderful way to connect with your baby through music, singing, and instrument exploration. Designed by an experienced mother of 4 and Board Certified Music Therapist, this class will help new parents feel empowered to interact musically with their infant while promoting neural and muscular development.

Create new bonds with your child through singing, dancing, and instrument exploration!  Designed for infants and emerging toddlers ages 9-15 months, Beginning Beats 2 promotes positive interactions with caregivers through music.  Special attention is given to beginning speech sounds and early communication skills through a combination of singing and sign language.

Boundless Beats

Watch the pure joy of children making music while they play the egg shakers, rhythm sticks, or drums. Listen as children begin to sing along to familiar music. See the delight in their eyes as they dance and move along to the beat. For ages 15 months-4 years, our Boundless Beats program is sure to delight! Each class provides opportunities for young children to engage in music through instrument play, movement, and singing. These activities help promote:

  • Attention to task
  • Motor development
  • Cognitive development
  • Communication skills
  • Appropriate social interaction

Our weekly themed classes also work on skills such as beginning literacy, color identification, counting, and so much more!
